Educator

She has been a faculty member of the Community Music Center in San Francisco since 2000, where she teaches voice, flute, Coro de Cámara, several older adult choirs, and is a teaching artist as part of the San Francisco Unified School District Mariachi Program.

Martha taught the Latin Vocal Workshop for twelve years, instructing students on the style, Spanish enunciation, and interpretation of Latin American songs.

She worked as the coordinator and music instructor of the Mission District Young Musicians Program from 2006 to 2018, a Community Music Center program that provides free music lessons and classes in Latin music to underserved youth.

Martha maintains a busy teaching schedule at her private music studio, teaching voice and flute.
